I am Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Pitzer College in Claremont, California. I completed my PhD at Princeton University in 2023. Before that, I earned a BA from St. Olaf College. Here is my CV.

My interests lie at the intersection of ethics, moral psychology, and the philosophy of action. I take a historical approach to these topics, and my research to date has primarily focused on themes of value and agency in the writings of Friedrich Nietzsche. I have worked extensively with students in contexts ranging from community college, to the Ivy League and Claremont Colleges, to the federal prison system. You can read more about my teaching and mentorship activities here.
